Coach Bio

This season (2023-2024) Kylie Scribano is the assistant coach for Roots Volleyball’s second 12s team – 12-2 Blue.

Kylie was born in Temple and attended Rogers High School. During her senior season she was the team captain and had an “Athlete of the Week” article written about how she learned to hit with both her right and left hand.

She graduated from RHS in 2015 and continued her education at the University of Texas at Austin. She graduated from UT in 2018 with a degree in Kinesiology and Health Education. She served as the coaching assistant for PE college courses and spent a month in Egypt coaching summer camp in 2019.

Kylie currently works at UT as an Academic Advisor for Computer Science Majors and was previously an elementary school teacher. She lives in north/central Austin with her husband of two years, Nate. This is Kylie’s first season coaching with the Roots Volleyball family.
