Suzanne Rose

This season (2024-2025) Suzanne Rose is the head coach for Roots Volleyball’s fifth 14s team – 14-5 Pecan.

Suzanne was born in San Angelo and attended Lakeview High School. She played for LHS’ varsity volleyball team and earned Defensive Player of the Year honors. She graduated in 2004 and received a scholarship for graduating in the top 10% of her class.

Suzanne attended Angelo State University and majored in Kinesiology earning a Bachelor of Science degree (2007). She then earned her master’s at Sul Ross University for Educational Diagnostician (2017).

Previously, Suzanne coached 3 season of club volleyball in San Angelo. She also ran her own club, Club Chaos, for one a season with 13U and 14U teams.

Suzanne has played sports her whole life and loves the energy and positivity sports brings out in players. She didn’t always have encouraging coaches and knew she wanted to make a change. Suzanne wants to help the next generation of young women grow and uplift them through sports.

Suzanne resides in Pflugerville and works as an Educational Diagnostician for Manor ISD. This will be her first season coaching with the Roots Volleyball family.
