Director Bio

Kelley Edler is Roots Volleyball’s Travel Coordinator for all teams and coaches.

Kelley grew up in Bedford, Texas, and graduated from the University of North Texas. From there she went to University of Alabama for graduate school, and some would say she is obnoxiously unashamed of her love for the Crimson Tide.  For as long as she can remember, she’s enjoyed planning day trips and vacations for her family.

When Kelley’s daughters began to play club sports, she was always the one finding hotels to accommodate the team, and planning team dinners and activities. When her oldest was a senior in high school, she decided to find a job that would allow her to use her skills. She currently work for EM2 Housing (and Roots Volleyball), so she is well versed on both sides of the “Stay to Play” tournament rules and procedures.

Kelley has been married to her husband, Chris, for 22 years, and they live in Round Rock with their 2 daughters. Their oldest, Maddie, recently graduated from University of Texas at Dallas, where she played basketball. Their youngest, Sarah (former Roos Volleyball player), will be a sophomore playing beach volleyball at GCU.  Their girls’ sports keep them very busy, but in her spare time, you’ll find her dreaming up another vacation.
