We are so excited to announce that Roots Volleyball athlete, Megan Disu, has committed to play volleyball at The University of Rhode Island in Kingston. Megan is a member of the 18 Green team for the 2022-2023 season and is also a member of the Hays High School Varsity Volleyball team. This will be her second season as part of the Roots volleyball program. 

“In 13 years of coaching, I have yet to coach an athlete that matches Megan’s power. When she gets the ball on the right side, opposing defenders should take cover. In addition to being a commanding presence on the court, Megan’s humor and positivity makes her such an enjoyable athlete to coach and a great teammate,” says Lindsay Thompson, Megan’s 17 Green head coach and local recruiting coordinator for Roots.
