We want to extend a huge congratulations to Roots Volleyball athlete, Mary Heneghan, who has committed to play volleyball at Westfield State. Mary plays middle blocker for the Roots 182 Blue team for the 2023-2024 season and was also a starter for the Meridian World School Varsity volleyball team who finished second in state for the 2023 season. We are incredibly lucky to have her as part of our volleyball program.

Mary has played vital roles for the 182 Blue team for the last two seasons and has shown impressive growth. “Mary has been a pleasure to coach the past two seasons. She is a hard worker, a natural leader, and has grown her game tremendously since I started coaching her. I am so excited for her and am sure she will accomplish great things at Westfield State,” says Matt Morgan, 182 Blue Head Coach and Roots Recruiting Coordinator.
