We are so excited to announce that Roots Volleyball athlete, Maddie Steusser, has committed to play volleyball at the University of North Carolina Charlotte. Maddie s a member of the 18 Green team for the 2023-2024 season and also a member of the Anderson High School Varsity Volleyball team.

“We are so excited to watch Maddie continue her volleyball career in Charlotte and know that she will bring the same dedication and positivity to their program that she has brought to Roots since she was a young athlete. Her strength as a setter shows in tough matches when she leads with effortless positivity and fights to create opportunities for her offense and encouragement for her defense. She has a balance of humility and hype that make her a one of a kind teammate, and will make her an incredible addition to her college program!” says Rob Taliaferro, Roots Volleyball Director.
