Roots Volleyball is proud to announce Kasen Rosenthal’s commitment to play collegiately at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Connecticut. Kasen will graduate from Austin High School in 2022 and this will be Kasen’s second season with the Roots Volleyball family.

Kasen has led three of her past club teams to a USAV Girls’ Junior National bid. Most recently she anchored her 15U team who won a gold medal in the national division at JO’s in 2019 and she earned herself tournament MVP honors. An offensive force coupled with strong leadership and keen court awareness; she makes a statement every time she steps on the court. When you have a player like Kasen in your gym, we all get better.

Kasen’s 16 Under Armour assistant coach, Abby Fuchs, had this to say about her, “Kasen proved herself time after time with her high level of play and strong court leadership. She is one of the most coachable kids that I’ve had the privilege with which to work. One of her best qualities is the ability to put a smile on anyone’s face. I’m so proud of the hard work she’s put in to achieving her goal of playing at the next level. I can’t wait to watch her keep growing in the next stage of her volleyball career.”
