We are so happy to announce that Roots 18 Under Armour Blue athlete, Kacy Miller, has committed to play volleyball at Southwestern University in Georgetown. Kacy has been part of the Roots family for three years.

“I am very excited for Kacy as Southwestern is getting a steady, high-performing player who loves the game of volleyball and puts her whole heart into it,” says Joe Hunstock, head coach of 18 Under Armour Blue for the 2021-2022 season.

Kacy’s past coaches have been continuously impressed with her consistent play. “Kacy always wanted to know how to get better and always did the work to get there,” says Abby Fusch, who has coached Kacy the last two seasons. “Kacy is a steady all-around player who can hit a ball straight down while also able to anchor our back-row defense. We are so excited to be able to watch her locally through her collegiate career,” adds Lindsay Rosenthal, Director of Roots Volleyball and Kacy’s 16 Under Armour Green coach.
