Roots Volleyball athlete, Evie Naumann, has committed to play volleyball at Columbia University in New York City. Evie is a member of the 181 Green team for the 2022-2023 season and is also a member of the Westlake varsity volleyball team. This will be her second season as part of the Roots Volleyball program. 

Evie excelled in her 17s season with Roots Volleyball, earning an All-Tournament selection at the 2022 USA Volleyball Girls’ Junior National Championships.

“Evie’s work ethic is nearly unmatched. She set incredibly high academic and athletic goals for herself and never stopped improving until those goals were met. We are incredibly lucky to have such a talented student athlete as part of the Roots Volleyball program and can’t wait to see what she achieves both on the court and in the classroom at the next level. Congrats Evie!” says Lindsay Thompson, Evie’s 171 Green head coach.
