We are so excited to announce that Roots Volleyball athlete, Cameron Shelly, has committed to play volleyball at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. Cameron is a member of the 18 Green team for the 2022-2023 season and also was a member of the Westlake High School Varsity Volleyball team, earning District 26-6A MVP her senior season. This will be her third season as part of the Roots volleyball program. 

Cameron is an outstanding athlete and effortlessly runs the floor in the setter position. “You will not find an athlete that works harder or is more coachable than Cam. Her improvement over the last couple of years not only in skill but volleyball IQ speaks volumes about the work that she has put into this sport. The sky is the limit for her!” says Lindsay Thompson, Cameron’s 17 Green head coach and local recruiting coordinator for Roots.
