We are so excited to announce that Roots Volleyball athlete, Calissa Allison, has committed to play volleyball at the University of Incarnate Word located in San Antonio, TX. Calissa is a member of the 17 Green team for the 2022-2023 season.

“Calissa is one of the most dynamic athletes I have had the privilege of coaching. No matter where the pass is on the court, she has the ability to get the ball in a great position for her hitters. In addition, with as many points that she creates as a setter, she has the ability to earn the equivalent as a hitter. The sky is the limit for her and I look forward to watching her excel at UW. Go Cardinals!”, says Lindsay Thompson, Calissa’s 17 Green Head Coach for Roots.
