We are so excited to announce that Roots Volleyball athlete, Bella Briceno, has committed to play volleyball at the University of Texas at Tyler. Bella is a member of the 18 Green team for the 2022-2023 season and also was a member of the Hays High School Varsity Volleyball team. This will be her second season as part of the Roots volleyball program. 

Bella leads by example with her hustle on the court and motivates those around her to play better. “Bella is the influencer every team needs and wants. She challenges her opponents and pushes her teammates to be great. The hard work she puts forth to lead her team speaks volumes when she plays. She is the influential leader that makes a team push to the next level.” says Nicole Hajka, Bella’s 17’s head coach.
