Roots Volleyball is very proud to announce Ayisha Adekanmbi’s commitment to play collegiately at Nyack College in New York City, New York. Ayisha will graduate from Stony Point High School in 2021. This will be Ayisha’s second season with the Roots Volleyball family and second season to play for Coach Korinne on 18 Under Armour. We will miss her but know she will make an immediate impact on and off the court for NC Lady Warriors.

Ayisha is a hard worker, a great teammate, and a very diverse player. We’ve enjoyed watching her entire volleyball skill set grow over this past season. She is a strong young woman and we are so proud and so excited for the next chapter in her volleyball career. 

Ayisha’s 18 Under Armour head coach, Korinne Stinson, had this to say about her, “Ayisha is a must have player on the court. Last season alone, she earned 50% of our points with her heavy hand and smart placement.”

Congratulations to Aylisha and family. We are proud of you and wish you nothing but the best. The Lady Warriors are lucky to add you to their volleyball family!
