We are so excited to announce that Roots Volleyball athlete, Ava Wind, has committed to play volleyball at the University of Montevallo. Ava is a member of the 18 Green team for the 2023-2024 season and also a member of the Glenn High School Varsity Volleyball team.

Ava’s extraordinary work ethic, coupled with her impressive volleyball IQ, sets her apart as a player with a bright future. She effortlessly covers vast areas of the court and continually pushes her teammates to elevate their game. Lindsay Thompson, Head Coach of the 17-1 Green team and Roots Volleyball Recruiting Director, applauds Ava’s dedication and potential. Lindsay states, “Ava is an incredibly hard worker with such a high volleyball IQ. She covers so much of the court with ease and pushes her teammates to perform at a higher level. I can’t wait to see what she accomplishes at the next level.”
