We are so happy to announce that Roots 18 Under Armour Blue athlete, Ashley Salas, has committed to play beach volleyball at East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, Texas. Her versatility will be a great asset to the ETBU beach program. 

“I couldn’t be more excited for Ashley and ETBU. Ashley is a great defender and an undersized hitter who consistently surprises opponents with her creativity. If that wasn’t enough, her blocking is second to none and she is an amazing teammate. As great as she is as an indoor player, Ashley’s game is perfect for the sand. East Texas Baptist is getting a very talented, athletic volleyball player and an even better human being,” says Joe Hunstock, head coach of 18 Under Armour Blue for the 2021-2022 season.

Ashley is the perfect athlete to help kick off ETBU’s inaugural beach volleyball season.
