This season (2024-2025) Ryan Drake is the assistant coach for Roots Volleyball’s third 17s team – 17 Maple and the head coach for Roots Volleyball’s fifth 14s team – 14 Pecan.

Ryan was born in Sherman, Texas and attended Austin High (2018-2020) and Texas Tech Online High School (2021). She played one season collegiately at Pacific University before transferring to Texas State University. She is currently working towards her Elementary Education degree with a minor in German.  Ryan is a member of the Dean’s List.

Ryan is Roots Volleyball alumni and she worked three summers as a camp instructor for Roots Volleyball and West Austin Volleyball. Currently she is a Legal Assistant for Drake Law and resides in Kyle, Texas.

Last season (2023-2024) Ryan was the assistant coach for Roots Volleyball’s third 17s team – 17-3 Maple. The previous season (2022-2023) Ryan Drake was the assistant coach for Roots Volleyball’s HCI 15s team – 15 Hickory. This will be Ryan’s 3rd season coaching club with the Roots Volleyball family.
