This season (2023-2024) Laura Meyenberg is the assistant coach for Roots Volleyball’s fifth 16s team – 16-5 Pecan.

Laura was born and raised in California. She started playing indoor volleyball at age 9 and played competitively throughout high school for clubs in Northern California as an outside and middle hitter. Laura was a four-year varsity player and named All-County MVP her senior year. She continued playing club in college at California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly SLO). Currently, she plays beach volleyball recreationally.

Laura is a registered dietitian with a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and works in health technology. She enjoys working out, spending time with friends, and trying new restaurants around Austin. This is Laura’s first season with the Roots Volleyball family.
