Coach Bio
This season (2024-2025) Kaitlyn Vasquez is the assistant coach for Roots Volleyball’s second 13s team – 13-2 Blue.
Kaitlyn was born in Round Rock and attended Round Rock Christian Academy – She played for Coach Doug Keyser! Kaitlyn led her team to the final four at the state tournament each year and boasted a 2nd place finish in 2018 and 2019. She also earned 2nd Team All-District honors as a freshman, 1st Team All-District honors as a sophomore and junior. Kaitlyn also led the district in aces as a freshman on varsity and was Academic All-State her sophomore and junior seasons.
She graduated from RRCA in 2022 and is attending Texas State University pursuing a bachelor’s in communication studies with a minor in business. She graduated in May of 2024.
Last season (2023-2024) Kaitlyn was the assistant coach for Roots Volleyball’s fourth 16s team – 16-4 Mesquite. Kaitlyn currently lives in Pflugerville. This is Kaitlyn’s second season coaching with the Roots Volleyball family.
