This season (2021-2022) Joe Hunstock is the head coach for Roots Volleyball’s second 18s team – 18 Under Armour Blue.

Last season (2020-2021) Joe served as the head coach of 16 Pecan who won Roots Volleyball’s Team of the Year honors for their high level of play, team chemistry, and teammate support. The previous season (2019-2020) Joe was the head coach for 16 Pink. Previously Joe Hunstock served as the head coach for 12 HCI Black (2018-2019), the head coach for 12 Black and 2nd assistant coach for 13 Under Armour (2017-2018), and the head coach for 13 Grey (2016-2017).

Joe has been coaching youth sports since 2005 with volleyball as his primary focus since 2010. Joe spent his high school years playing beach volleyball before transitioning to the indoor game in college where he co-founded and managed a club team representing the University of Wisconsin at River Falls.

Joe spends his days working as a Product Manager at Elligo Health Research and is a husband and a father of two daughters. This is Joe’s 7th season coaching with the Roots Volleyball family.
