Coach Bio

This season (2023-2024) Jade Martinez is the head coach for Roots Volleyball’s third 12s team – 12-3 Maple.

Jade was born in Corpus Christi and attended Cedar Ridge High School. She led the Lady Raiders to several strong finishes and earned the CRHS Lady Raider Award. Jade graduated in 2017

She continued her education at Austin Community College and has earned two associates degrees – Associate of Arts (teaching EC-6 grade levels) and an Associate of Arts (general studies).

Jade has coached in the private sector the last three seasons.  Previously, she was at Sterling Classical and this season she is with Hyde Park. Last season (2022-2023) Jade was the head coach for 13 Mesquite and 13 Cedar. She was previously coaching club in the Austin-area for three seasons.

Jade currently runs her own clothing store (online) and resides in Round Rock. This will be her 2nd season coaching with the Roots Volleyball family.
