Erika coached the past two seasons with an Austin-area club. She was the head coach for a 12s team (2021-2022) in her first season and a head coach for a 12s team and assistant coach for a 15s team (2022-2023) in the second season. She led her 15s team to a 1st place finish at Lone Star Regionals.
Erika believes coaching youth volleyball is one of the most important jobs you can hold. While it is a job, she believes it is more of a responsibility to help shape the paths, lives, and integrity of young women. She believes teaching the fundamentals of volleyball, good sportsmanship, and how to be an effective member of a team, will result in creating the next generation of strong, successful women in our society.
Erika currently resides in Round Rock and works as a dental assistant. This is Erika’s 1st season coaching with the Roots Volleyball family.
