This season (2023-2024) Christy Everett is the head coach for Roots Volleyball’s second 13s team – 13-2 Blue.

Christy was born in Denton, Texas and attended Midway High School. During her time as a lady panther, she earned honors as Freshman Newcomer of the Year, 2014 Most Athletic Female in Class 2014, 2-time MVP. Christy graduated in 2014. Christy continued her education at Midwestern state university (Class of 2018) with a Bachelors in business administration.

Christy has previously coached 3 high school seasons and 10 club seasons. Christy is currently an Athletic Coordinator for children’s Methodist Home.

Christy is married to Michael Everett and expecting their first-born November 2023. She is returning to Roots Volleyball for her second season coaching with the Roots Volleyball family.
