This season (2020-2021) Brittany Gordy will be the assistant coach for Roots Volleyball’s third 17U team – 17 Maple.

Brittany was born and raised in Dickinson, Texas. She attended Dickinson High School and graduated in 2009.

She played 7 seasons of volleyball (club and school). After high school she attended University of Houston Clear Lake and graduated in December of 2015 with a degree in Education and Interdisciplinary Studies. Brittany has two previous seasons of club coaching experience.

Brittany is a second-grade teacher at Rancho Sienna Elementary in Liberty Hill ISD. She currently resides in Georgetown with her husband, Wade, and their two kids, Rhett (3) and Wrenley (1). This will be Brittany’s first season coaching with the Roots Volleyball family.
