Brianna was born in Kansas, moved to Colorado Springs when she was 3, and eventually settled Texas in 2021. She attended Widefield High School in Colorado Springs and graduated in 2016. While at WHS she received numerous athletics awards including Athletic Achievement Award (2012), Captain’s Awards (2014), and Athletic and Academic Excellence Award (2015).

Brianna played for Team Colorado Volleyball Club her 15U-17U seasons (2012-2015) as a starting libero/defensive specialist. During her third season her 17 national team medaled at 4 tournaments. In her final season of club volleyball, she played with 30^2 on their 18 national team (2015-2016).

Brianna continued her education at The University of Colorado, Colorado Springs (two semesters) before transferring to The University of Arizona. She graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. She has plans to begin work on her master’s degree shortly.

Previously Briana coached at Trinity Episcopal School in Austin (2021) and with local Austin-area clubs the past three seasons – 13U (2021-2022), 14U (2022-2023), and 13U (2023-2024). During the off season she coaches camps and clinics and has coached three seasons of club prep.

Brianna coaches because she loves the game, and she enjoys working with her athletes to grow and improve as players and people. She knows the value of great coaching and learned many valuable life lessons from her former coaches that she still uses daily. Brianna works to be a role model and make a positive impact on her players, just like her coaches did for her and her athletic career.

Brianna is currently a full-time coach and resides in Pflugerville. She is married, has a daughter (4), and has a second baby arriving at the end of September. This is Brianna’s 5th season coaching and her 1st season coaching club volleyball with the Roots Volleyball family.
